Hu rejects China political reform

I chose this paragraph because I am interesting in this topicChina's President Hu Jintao has made an important speech opposing Western-style political reform for the country.

Speaking before the important meeting of Communist Party, he said that China would be led into a "blind alley" by copying Western political systems.

Mr Hu had a power since 2002, wants to ensure the Party's law by making it more responding to public want more corruption. But analysts said that he had shown to not interest in wider political reform.

The speech came a day before the Communist Party's powerful of Central Committee began its annual meeting in Beijing.

Almost in the meeting on 19 September had see the contract for when last president Jiang Zemin had asked for give up after he is the last president in the Central Military Commission.

If he had step down in favors of Mr Hu, the latter would have consolidated his position as China's paramount leader.

Mr Hu said no Western democratic practices - such as separating the powers of the executive, legislature and judiciary and multi-party national elections - would be implemented in China.

"We will never blindly copy the mode of other countries' political system," Mr Hu said. "History indicates that indiscriminately copying Western political systems is a blind alley for China."

In my opinion Mr.Hu should not give up from this situation.

Beijing-Tianjin High Speed train

I chose this article because I like to know about how fast it can run and is it comfortablr for people who use it.The China holiday is end. Some people in the party decided to the place that the place would be more safe than during the Olympics. If they destroyd all extraneous foreigners, especially the lowlifes with my type of business visa. So they can gave me the boots. Seems like a good time how to share China's transportation .
This week, ceremonies were held for the opening of the Beijing-Tianjin suburban high speed railway. Shanghai had one of these in operation for a while 30 km line from a European consortium, but this new train is made in China 120 kilometers long. It's highest speed the test was 394 kilometers per an hour, about 260 mph.

In my opinion, This make China people can go anywhere easily and more comfortable and faster than buses trains or another vehicles.http://cnreviews.com/life/travel-tourism/beijing_-_tianjin_high-speed_railway_tianjin_in_30_minutes_part_ii_20080806.html

China's tight rein on online growth

I chose this article because it is interesting and attractive for me and I want to know how to connect with other people by using this machine. In less than 10 years China had gone from a net newcomer to the country with the world's second-largest online population.

The first international internet data from China started travelling across the net in 1994. Now the country had more than 100m net users

That puts its second only to the US with its 185m web users. But China looks set to pass that within a few years - especially when you consider that China's net users represent barely 8% of its population.

If Chinese net use grows to the levels seen in many Western nations, it could end up with 750m people regularly going online.

But currently the experience of the average Chinese net user differs greatly from that of many in the West.

In my opinion, I think this quite interesting because this can make a lot of money from the people who use internet.

Derek Scissors

I chose this article because I want to know about the climate of China and how was the poolution in their country had. President Obama's emphasis on climate change had famous implications for U.S.-China relations. On her inaugural trip to Asia, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sought to expand the Sino-American Strategic Economic Dialog to include climate change among America's chief China policy priorities.

Making climate change a high priority was a mistake. It may inject unnecessary hostility into the already-strained bilateral relationship over what should be a secondary issue. And it rests on a faulty premise: Many argue that the PRC will make sharp cuts in carbon emissions but only if the U.S. does so first. This claim borders on nonsense.

In my opinion, I thought every country had their own issue. China government should solve this proplem immediately as soon as they can.

China, on cusp of superpower, faces environmental strain

I chose this article because I want to know that how should they can fixed this problem and protect. BEIJING — This year, China will jump over Japan to become the second-biggest economy on Earth, behind only the USA, predicts Ting Lu, a China economist with Bank of America-Merrill Lynch. Next month, China started broadcasts on CNN and other networks of an image-boosting commercial featuring stars such as basketballer Yao Ming and China's first astronaut, Yang Liwei.

Back at ground level, though, in what remains a developing country, China's people and government were struggling to deal with a series of natural disasters that some environmentalists believe are the deadly, man-made consequences of favoring economic growth over environmental protection.

The latest tragedy occurred early Sunday when heavy rain triggered landslides that blocked a river in Zhouqu County, an ethnically Tibetan area in northwestern Gansu province, forcing floodwater to sweep through the county seat. By 2 p.m. Monday, 337 people had died and 1,148 were missing, the state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.

In my opinion, oil spills, hurricanes, floods, mudslides, and the global heat wave which have been the cause of many fires, smoke, and deaths had many searching for answers.
